Great food. More over the food felt extremely fresh. Good portions and ambience. A good number of vegetarian options as well.

Usually, I’m not impressed by Mexican food, but this place was incredible! The scratch made kitchen blew me away. Everything here was super delicious. Drinks were strong and well worth the price! I got a smoked old-fashioned inside of a pirate chest , coolest thing I’ve ever seen! All their drinks are really fire though. For appetizer we had elote on a clothesline, amazing presentation, complete with dry ice, and salsa rosada yum ! We also had an order of birria chicken wings, which were crispy and fried perfection, complete with sauce! Also, this entire entire place is a photo opp! No matter which wall you pick, even the bathroom has amazing places to take pictures. I will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu

Went to this place based on a friends recommendation and it exceeded our expectations. Cool interior with tasty food and great drinks. We had the chicken flautas, birria tostadas and birria chimichanga. All were excellent. The strawberry margarita and ‘isla mujeras’ were perfect. We told friends about it and they went the next day and loved it. Will definitely go back.

'An Absolute Hidden Gem – A Must-Visit Spot!' I recently visited this town and stumbled upon this amazing bar and restaurant owned by none other than the incredible Leo. From the moment I walked in, Leo made me feel like a long time regular – his warmth and hospitality are unmatched! Even though I was new to the place, he took it upon himself to give me a full tour, including the outdoor lounge (which was closed for the season but still as cozy and inviting as ever). And let’s talk about the food and drinks – WOW. Phenomenal doesn’t even begin to cover it. Every bite, every sip was crafted to perfection, hitting all the right notes in flavor, freshness, and presentation. This place is a rare find – a blend of top-notch service, a cozy atmosphere, and unforgettable flavors. Leo and his team have truly set the bar high. Highly recommend! This spot deserves 10 stars out of 5!

My sister and I had an amazing night here the food was fresh, hot and tasty. The presentation is top-notch! The dreams are so delicious and they definitely give a buzz. The servers are very accommodating. I love this location in Rahway because it’s such a cute small town.

I absolutely loved La Chula. The restaurant is fun and vibrant with food/drinks to match! My friend suggested this spot for our double date and it lived up to everything she said it was. We ordered a bunch of different menu items: Food: - Queso Fundido - Guac - Salmon Tropical - Chicken Quesadilla - Steak Tacos Drinks: - Isla Mujeres - La Jefa Margarita - Tequila shots Food came out quick and it was delicious! If you order guac, you HAVE to get it with tropical style (w/ mango). It adds a sweet touch to it. For the queso fundido, we were able to order it without chorizo as they have a mushroom option as well or you can order it plain. I really enjoyed the salmon tropical, especially with the chunks of mango paired with white rice. Their drink presentation was on point even down to the shots. My drink was the La Jefa marg and added guava with my first drink and strawberry for the second. Very tasty! Service was fairly quick as we didn't find ourselves waiting too long for our waiter. All in all, La Chula is a great for date nights, girls nights and friend meet ups. The restaurant is lively and they play music which isn't super loud so you can still have conversations. Total bill for 4 was 281.64 cash and 292.29 for card (CC fee is 3.99% which was 10.64. Will definitely be back!

Food was absolutely delicious and extremely fresh! The drinks were the best I have had. The bar tender is truly a mixologist. The music and ambience was GREAT! Can't wait to go back!
